I have to say, it's embarrassing
When trying to groom my Bella Bella
In between and Midway through expensive groomings
I try to attempt free trimmings

I Stop! I Give up! ...it's Soo hard,
Believe me!

She looks crooked and uneven
Strangely comes out kinda Alienish
A little lot like E.T.
Vintage, an extraterestrial movie...cute being
And a cross between a wet seal...meets a panda gnome
With big, popping, puppy eyes

She flips her head, side to side
Jerking me ruthlessly away
It takes all night, trying, ...

I give it to her, my Bella,
She's ingenious! The longer I try,
The more she makes me feel ridiculous
...at attempting to groom her and make such a mess
Her hair... Everywhere! I'm not a trained professional
Did I mention, not artistically gifted with groomery vision?

Trying pathetically, to save monies money
Embarking in territory...not marking it,
Thank you very much!
Where was I, oh yeAh, so saving moola, ...
Trying to do something I really am an Expert at knowing
Nothing at all about...zilch! Experience zero
Shadows me and my shoddy work!

If paying customer, ... I would pay myself a Yelp comment
...if it's still around? I'd complain, and rate me lowlowlow

So, Fifty Five Dollars later, plus tip...
I walk away, today, with my baby in my arms
Bella Bella just is radiating...
She glows! ...you know why...
Me? ...
Ecstatic that she's done,
but so embarrassed all the same
I'm walking to the car
With my tail between my legs...
Shame on me, I know and feel
For trying to Save! ! !
Embarrassed, put in my place...
Now an Expert!
