This is quite an amusing write! The repetition of rhyming words makes it look like a limerick, but a limerick always has only five lines with the first, second and fifth lines rhyming similar and the third and fourth line also rhyming in a different manner....! The rhyme scheme is aa bb a!
Thanks indeed, a standard limerick only has five lines as you said, but this is an extended limerick, call it one and half (need not be so mathematically) , there are also double limericks and variations which I often follow. In this age of liberty, hope, you will allow me this much freedom. To be fair on what you say, I call it a Limerick because the PH listing won't allow the variations.
