I love the Poet's Note......... ;) ==================== “An Excruiciating Pain Of A Exquisite Heart” check the spelling of “excruciating”. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - “Fervent, fervid, fervour of fettle love, ” I like the alliteration ….f, f, f, f …………though I haven’t checked definitions for usage; I don’t know the word “fettle”. there are a lot of words I don’t “know”. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - “And we compiled to be as lovely creatures, ” check the definition/usage of “compiled” here. maybe it works. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - another new word to me: “Sim•u•la•crum (sĭmˌyə-lāˈkrəm, -lăkˈrəm) ► • n. An image or representation. • n. An unreal or vague semblance.” - - - - - - - - - - - - - - at the beginning and ending of the poem, it sounds like the ‘guy and girl’ (?) are getting along well. but near the end of the poem is this: “Alas! dishy angel, Forsook*** me, like a boisterous gale, she rushed.” …………which sounds like the girl is not interested in the guy. hmmm? ***“for•sake (fôr-sākˈ, fər-) ► • v. To give up (something formerly held dear): renounce: forsook liquor. • v. To leave altogether; abandon: forsook Hollywood and returned to the legitimate stage. More at Wordnik from The American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language,4th Edition “ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - overall good work for someone who probably speaks/writes another language usually and is so young.. bri :) p.s.
