An Evil Rain Poem by james watkin

An Evil Rain

A snail's, innocent
Or mudslide's imprint
Giant-footed, on roofed things
To stomp in its sprint -
Rain, with us today
Will be left which sort?
'Like all surprises, those best
The worst shocks have brought! '
