This is such a powerful poetic explosion of emotions! They move like an avalanche through great imagery of desolation, devastating a tender heart filled with love: like only Love can do! And yet, it is only Love that remains with us all our lives. Greatly written!

'Pieces of my mind, Blowing wildly in westerly breezes' - nice imagery! 'Then you came along my love to lure Me into a glade fertile, green and pure, To play in your peaceful, loving mind, Like an everlasting rapture.' - curtain drawn so wonderfully to end the poem! The title is apt. Overall, a very nice poem.

I almost can't speak [hard to believe, I know] because this poem has such natural impact, rings with such truth, and haunts us with a sense of shared memories. Excellent. I'm thinking this may very well be the best poem you've written [but the moment I say that I hear words from your past poems that put me in your countryside and spoke to me of truth and commonality] Awesome lines: Pieces of my mind, Blowing wildly in westerly breezes, - - - - - - - - - - - - - -That reached out and pulled me into your world right from the git-go! It flows so poetically, giving me a powerful visual and a visceral shivering reaction. Words that storm through trees barren of any good thoughts, - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -ARGH! I want to have written that! ! ! ! ! ! It's so dang perfectly expressed and I can see those barren trees threshing and whipping around in the storm of words and winds. Then you came along my love to lure Me into a glade fertile, green and pure, To play in your peaceful, loving mind, - - - - - - - - -May I say YUM [said with very green jealous eyes] We readers took a lovely lovely journey with this poem and such a beautiful reward awaited us. Thank you so very much! ! 10

A marvellous poem having haunting and thrilling expression with nice collocation. The deepest love of a heart is painted in a metaphorical way. Let me quote... They were like an anchor to take rest and sail again into each new day, Then you came along my love to lure Me into a glade fertile, green and pure, To play in your peaceful, loving mind, Like an everlasting rapture. Thanks for sharing this lovely poem.

Beautifully expressed your long and tedious walk from the blistering sands of life to the cool oasis of love! In between parents have always been a safe port to anchor your vessel! Love connects all goodness and the war of hate ceases! Top rating...10+++++

Very very beatiful and seriously deep, your emotions resonate in phrases....love connects from the beauty of goodness, just my parents way......pieces of my being left in familiar homes, rooms and streets, of my many dates, , superb poetry gracefully expressed!
