An Epilogue To Faith Poem by Jessel Jane Tevar Toring

An Epilogue To Faith

Rating: 5.0

What am I without thee?
What shall I become?
Just fleeting dust,
to dust I shall succumb.
May thou not waver,
may thou not fail;
Be thou my anchor,
as I am frail.

May thou not weaken,
grant me strength anew;
this prayer ascends
to fortify my view.
For who am I without thee?
Where will I be?
A fallen man,
lost to destiny.

Death is death,
and life is life's song,
but faith, O faith,
be my guiding throng.
Lead me back
to where I once abode,
to the place of peace,
where my heart once flowed.
