An Enigma, You Are! Comments

I am not competent enough to comment on the political situation! The one subject I am least interested in is Politics! Still I am swept off my feet by the power of your rhetoric! I do agree with the observation of Nosheen! There is no stable stand in politics! The tables can be turned any time..... and what is admirable now can become abominable the next moment, but to win the hearts of the majority is no small thing! Our PM has succeeded in that!

A powerful political write. Democracy is a great system but in the context of my own country, we don't have much of a choice. I mean i don't see any leader who can be a people's person, who can address with competence the issues faced by public. This popularity thing is an enigma...it has to do a lot with our stars. Anyone can ascend to the throne if luck is with him. But at the same time, it's quite an art to wow the public, to win their hearts. But in the game of politics, tables turn very quickly. Today's hero can be a villain tomorrow or vice versa. We the public are always bemused spectators.10
