An Author's Dilemma Poem by Kingsley Egbukole

An Author's Dilemma

The Strings of ideas that flow
From the point of my knowledge stick
Will be of what use
Occupying the little space in my head
And lost to the intended beneficiaries

The publisher's wage is a hang loop
Constrict my vessels to cease
But if the flow will not dry
I will take solace in the chain product
And hope for the Halley's Comet
When the butterflymight emerge from the cocoon.

Lovely Expressions for a dilemma faced by all authors. Some time just clearing our head and spending some time in our own company is a good enough reward without hoping for a Halley's commet.
