An Appetising Meal Well Served Poem by Terence George Craddock

An Appetising Meal Well Served

Rating: 5.0

love at first sight or lust
like served food what
appeals to the hungry eye
can the stomach upset
sorely trouble the heart

not all food which looks good tastes good

too much sugar too much salt
fried in oil or too much fat
herbs spices or fire chillies raw
a little butter to in mouth melt
a meal burned or chief inspired felt
