Innumerable Skulls are scattered around,
So many bodies are floating away
With tears and miseries all the way.

fight against terrorism Humans kill Humans only, fighting between them
Really a great poem scripted with great feelings with a great message to humanity.........10
Just a really great poem regarding the atrocities of evil people on this earth!
Only by believing a world of love and kindness is possible can it be made a reality. While we surround ourselves with unkind words and actions, in films and media, and stand idle why others say and do unkind things, then things will be slow to change. Thank you Amitava Sur for having the courage to speak, and for not being idle.
Thanks Mr Amitava for posting such a powerful piece with such touching and inspiring thoughts. we all love such writes and would love to raise our voice against all such bloodsheds. thanks.
so mean we have become today all over the globe we are killing ourselves congratulations on # 200 this is a very meaningful poem
Congratulations on your 200th submission Amitava. Well done, and keep on writing.
Congrats. I really admired this pretty poem and its beautiful message...........10
Congratulations on your 200th poem! It is a heartfelt appeal for peace in our world. You have written your feelings about the evil and tyranny of our world into a brilliant poem! ! It could not have been said more honestly and truthfully! It hits home, you have spelled out what is wrong and it cannot be denied! You are the philosopher I have said you were all along! Things can be changed one person at a time, if we all join with you that change, I believe will eventually come about and we will have peace. Even those who are reigning terror on others will come to tire of what they are doing, it will eventually stop as long as they are encouraged by the world to stop raising their children with hatred. It corrupts the purity and innocence of life. All the good people must raise the consciousness of the world, make them see change can come about. You, Amitava are the leader in the worldwide effort! You help lessen the fears people have by exposing the truth. One only fears the unknown. I humbly bow before you, dear poet, you have succeeded where many have failed to make a difference in our world. You are tops in my book, Amitava
..........awesome topic for your 200th.....maybe the earth is to small after all....if only we could send the bad people to another planet
Great thoughts well writen my friend, thank you for share! I think we need not to beg but take what is ours. The destroying of our world may be of some tyrans faults as much as ours. Many of us see the truth, but keep going the way we are pushed to by the system we live in. As long as we are moving the way we do there will be no change and I fear more hardship will fall over our world. But I do have hopes that one day we may all learn how to be free. How to open our hearts. We have the means, we can change. That time will come, the unrests are because those who wants the grip of power are feeling it coming and tries to hang on. When all the people on earth would raise their hands towards with love and smiles there will be nothing and nobody to stop them. We will learn how to free our hearts. How to get rid of fears.
Shared it on Face Book as a token of love for my great lovely friend Amitava.
i sent this poem in messages to several of my PH friends. my friend Ging Taping sent me this response: This lines caught my attention.., , ., Live and let live at least Before this earth totally ruined.. We'll never know until when we live...It is God who knows until when...If it is our time then its our time... So live and use our life to praise Him and be thank full for everyday we still alive... ============== bri :) ========================================
Congratulations on your 200th poem. The poem sends a strong message for peace and so relevant. May we all work for peace in whatever little way we can. And may you write many more poems to spread the message.
Congrats for double century with a nice message as a poem APPEAL with your note what we are- a question that always i think of reply - You have sucked enough blood And butchered enough humanity. thank you
call me a pessimist if you must, but unless someone comes up with a drug to control the evil thoughts and deeds of humans, bloodshed and destruction shall most likely continue. as long as there is poverty, mental illness, certain pompous religious beliefs (which may be a form of mental illness) , joblessness, greed, and overpopulation (which may be a root of some of the other problems) , i predict the continuance of what this poem strives to wish-away. and, with all due sympathy to those who suffer, is humanity such a grand thing to save? ? there are other animals who sometimes act like humans in their blood-spilling/destroying actions. we are all animals. and, as i see you have worked for an oil company, perhaps you are more (than some) aware of the belief some people have.... that man's quest for oil, among other resources, causes at least some of the atrocities. global warming and overpopulation may well bring down the human race before wars do. : ( oh well. bri :) thanks for sharing. perhaps all you readers who believe in God and the benefits of prayer (as i DON'T) should get down on their knees more often to ask God to solve the problems confronting Her/His creation. i welcome responsive comments. p.s. i like your use of shoddy egos and i'm glad you acknowledge that these terrible events have not only happened within our lifetimes, but And they have been flowing unnoticed Throughout so many centuries! ! ......WELL, i'm pretty sure unnoticed is not true. but perhaps unchecked would fit. AND (not TRYING to be funny, though it is funny in a sick way) ............HOW MANY TYRANTS DO YOU THINK WILL READ THIS POEM? and how many of those do you think will change their ways? ? let me know when you reach #250. i can't wait for #300!
An appeal to all peace loving people to join hands to work for a better world where there is lesser enmity and greater fraternity, where no man will raise his hands against his fellow man, where no drop of blood shall be spilled in the name of politics, religion or sectarian interests! An earnest plea from a humane soul! Great message Amitava! Congratulations on your winning your second century! Let your poems escalate to thousands!
First of all have my congratulations for submitting your 200th poem at PH. It's a wonderful poem having an universal message to save the human race and anyone who claims to be a human has to join his voice with your voice.
Amitava a peace poem is so vital in todays world of violence. Well done
Man kills man, tiger does not tiger although it hunts only a four hours a day, rest twenty hours it sleeps, That's the difference between man and animals.the man only does not kill only for relious, but also for money.
