In me, now is an insatiable thirst

To place you not in a shrine, but in my very innards
So long I have been running away from you

Feeling God's presence in life we pray and perceive truth of universe. To feel his love we are eager and thirsty enough. This is insatiable thirst. Spinning world moves very fast and we hear world's whisper. Carefully we need calmness and comfort. But our final will is to unite with God. We hope God allows us and grants us a nice life..Excellent poem.10
The insatiable thirst of the soul towards perfection and salvation! Enjoyed. Thank you.
Superb. Such a beautiful heart-warming write. A powerful assertion of faith. It's really true Valsa, every person needs God, no matter how much of an atheist he might be. Our soul is connected to God and finally we have to realize this. A great depiction of a person's soul-searching. A huge 10.
Call me Ram or call me Krishna, call me Jesus or call me Mary, call me prophet or call me Avatar...hey call me Higgs boson if you like but look within and I am there in your chosen form. Loved reading the lovely prayer Valsa. Thanks for sharing.
I don't think this poem is aimed at Bri Edwards. Up to a certain extent we all are agnostics. Even Budha preferred to remain silent about God. Still Budha believes in Nirvana. I pray there would be a God and there would be a life after death. Even if there is no God and there is no life after death, I shall have no senses to regret any of my beliefs. I liked this poem very much as it paints a true picture of persons who are not sure about the existence of God buy they wish there should be a God.
There are moments when in every believer, an agnostic gains the upper hand when he/she allows the reason to supersede faith... I regret such moments and feel guilty when I stray from the path of God. However, I am cent percent certain that true joy rests with God and one can be happy only when he is under God’s shelter! Thank you!
That is a profound write on the thirst of the restless soul - an agnostic turning unto the Lord. (10)
So long i have been running! ! Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
In me, now is an insatiable thirst To hear your whispered words in deep quietude To calm my fears and to be filled with hope To feel your presence and to see you close....earnest prayer so modestly expressed! A sublime piece of poetry...10
