I have never been in life threatening winds and I love storms, so I cannot imagine the fear, American twisters produce, scary enough just watching on TV. Praying time I think. Time to wonder just how well that underground shelter was built and if it is up to task.

'The sky blackened in the west about sundown Bringing a sudden specter of terror, to my surprise, Like the chill that grips you when you hear gunshots' especially loved the opening lines, the power of an approaching storm front and the power of the final lines 'Sucks out the air.Acts of God leave a hollow gape Feelings of power, control, abuse, fear, and loss- Help me comprehend the true meaning of rape.' Dramatic weather on a Shakespearian scale.
