An Abandoned Church Or Not Poem by james watkin

An Abandoned Church Or Not

An abandoned church or not;
A stillness preserved
Within its iron railing.
What rumours are served
Of this desolate whistling
Through pine hereabouts
Feature birds' hallelujahs;
Not a lost soul's pouts!
