Amongst The Apple Trees Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Amongst The Apple Trees

Rating: 5.0

In the woodland far from home,
Through golden trees,
And peaceful bliss,
Where the charming pheasant roams,
His call is heard shan't go amiss,
He flies amongst the apple trees,
Calling for his partner so,
And when the evening does arrive,
As darkness comes,
Away he goes.

Did he meet his partner we will all ask, you've left us all with room for thought, did he meet her, did she find another? ? Interesting concept.5*
