Do I detect a hint of melancholy in the last stanza? It certainly works to give an emotional depth to this essentially pastoral scene (beautifully crafted, I might add) . Your line 'where the clouds leave their shadows' is enchanting. love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
