i seem to see every part of a corn and the feel of the whole cornfield as a whole, wow, what an imagery.18
I can relate to this one very well David. Cornfields was very plentiful where I grew up. I remember taking those long walks and running my hands through the soft and silky tops in the early morning while the ground was still wet and soggy from the dew. Your poem rings about thoughts of love. For me It was very relaxing. Enjoyed this write.
the way you have written this.........its great and i can visualize the imagery of your poem...
What a picture perfect poem, just as a Monet creation. Alice
A solitary stroll among the cornflowers on a wet summer day lost in the thoughts of your beloved! Memories keep accompanying us where ever we go! A delightful yet moving write! !

Cornflowers dipping their wet heads...and I run my hand through the cornflowers Beautiful description and smooth flow. Poet, you did a great job.
A delight to read this poem! Very poetic and sensitive. Bravo Poet.
The sensibility while deciding where to cut the line, and where to complete the point, is not that common...this poem with long lines of multiple syllable composition gives a pleasure read for both the composition and the content till the last short line...it is excellent!
