Oooh, love the cynicism in this one. As a non-American, and as a woman, I love the cheekiness of this piece, since it hits on the general perceptions of those who stand open-mouthed, watching the convoys of manhood puff and grunt down cracking highways. I just don't understand the allure of a truck, or why for some men it somehow translates to their virility and power. I appreciate your honesty in this, as well as your sense of humour which most poets seem to lose along the way. I look forward to reading more of your words.
