Tall skyscrapers, tall buildings
many apartments, many people
metro networks, many travelers,
many buses, many roadways;
many cities, many McDonalds;
everything many, everywhere action.
Many schools, many children
many shootings, many scandals,
many Presidents, many sheriffs
many singers, many actors
Hollywood, Disney Land;
Capitol Hill, White House;
Black people, white people,
nation of Immigrants
living together in one big country
excessive freedom and rights
yet colliding with destinies;
they call themselves a great nation
why not?
Mexicans, Cubans want to come in;
restrictions prevent them
they face death out of suffocation,
border security force got to be more vigilant
as many migrants die for such negligence
and lack of empathy;
just like Ukraine helpless,
getting bombed every day;
world is watching, America is watching;
Americans always so proud of themselves
America rattled by Corona Virus,
America still facing the virus
many died, many infections;
NASA Space Research millions spent,
where and when is cure for Corona Virus?
A Statue of (Lady) Liberty stands mightily;
Americans protest over Abortion Rights
womenfolk protesting with determination
America the foundation of Constitutional Rights;
Abraham Lincoln still inspiring children
but children getting shot at in schools innocently
by gunmen - where is justice for them?
parents keep crying endless tears
thrive on memories; life goes on....
Thanksgiving Day - an unforgettable celebration;
Americans content, collecting social security;
they enjoy eating at Burger king, Pizza Hut, Dominos
while walking in New York, New Jersey.
Movie Stars strolling in and out at LA;
California so sunny and full of hustle and bustle
while in Ukraine bombs are raining, .
Presidents making historical speeches
which are impressive momentarily;
promising financial aid in millions to Ukraine;
is that sufficient for a human cause
where deaths and sufferings are countless?
America, adhere to greatness
and not just dilemma of promises!
