This poem does make allusions to the bible, specifically with the"number of hairs on my head" line, but the poem is about a love that has hurt the subject, causing him pain because of the innate control and trust he places in her, and her irresponsiblity with that trust and love.

I'm not really sure but I think you are talking about yourself, sin and God please help understand but nicely placed words!
