Along Life's Musical River Poem by Mystic Qalandar

Along Life's Musical River

I walk beside life's musical stream,
Its green waters shimmering, softly sighing.
Bees begin to hum where I step,
Drawn by the glow of a gentle light.

I imagine I'm a swan at peace,
Gliding wide on unseen currents—
Graceful, strong, steady, free,
Unshaken by the river's sway.
I follow the music calling me.

And when body loosens its quiet hold,
My spirit will drift in silent ease,
Leaving this fading shore behind,
Sailing toward the endless sea.
Yet I will not grieve the dimming day—
For river and sea are one, they say.

When it's time to leave this body,
My soul will return in quiet grace.
It never truly left the sea—
It walked beside it, like a dream,
So near, yet unaware:
The sea was always within me.
