I sit here
Cold and alone
staring into the shadows
looking forward to the end
I wait and wait,
and yet hope never comes

I curl into a ball
as tears run down my face
I feel as though my time
is running low,
Constantly ticking,
Mocking me

Alone in the shadows
Until time runs out...
The suffering continues
as I wait,
Waiting for the end

Quiet, so very quiet
Slowly bleeding my life away
Pain is overwhelming me,
yet somehow, i feel at peace
Contempt with something
something so depressing

Blood has escaped my veins,
Tears flow from my eyes,
My time has come, to die,
Alone in the shadows.
