Doubt, lack of faith and despair are like demons which kill the spirit and plunge one to darkness.Faith in oneself, faith in God and His creations can lead us to light and hope. There is an earnest desire in your poem to seek the blessings of God.
Great write, Truly, man cannot live in darkness, he needs both physical light and spiritual light. Living in darkness away from SL means spoiling the purpose of God Let's all save ourselves from it Loved reading and commenting
Very well depicted Ayman, the truth is: darkness cannot comprehend the presence of light. And yes God is able to save. Good work. Stay blessed
Thank you my friend. God is the most mighty, merciful, benevolent, beneficent and so much more.
Yes no man deserves to be alone in the dark....this is a deep & thoughtful..thanks for sharing
Stay away from darkness..... Evil and danger lurk there! Move into light! If one cannot do it, seek heavenly providence! In this poem, I hear the wailing of a soul that wants to be redeemed! Great write, Ayman!
Thank you for the inspiring advice Valsa and your concern. Sometimes one gets used to darkness or ones path is surrounded by it. Evil and danger are horrible things and need to be avoided.
Your wonderful poetry, Valsa- comes from your beautiful soul. You understood me perfectly. And your comment it kept ringing in my head like a beautiful melody or soothing me like a balm. That is why I wrote what I just did. Thanks a lot.
A compelling and creative cry for salvation and companionship. Well done my friend!
Creative poem certainly the dark is the devils hunting ground but thanks to the cross of Jesus will make him run, mind gripping thoughts you bring...thanks and regards
Skepticism strikes us when we are alone n hopeless. You have presented the feeling of doubt with great clarity. No one should be, Alone in the dark is a very meaningful line, with A in capital which is intentional on the poet's part. A work of mature mind n intellect.10
