Hahahahaha you just imagine and meditate as if you were at the beach having fresher moment, hope traffic sound not wake up you though...just think that it could be a sound of waves...forgotten the noise.. its amazing to know how you imagine landscape that keep you calm in detail, i love do painting sometimes and to know you are imagining this scenery, it just like exchanging the idea of what a peaceful beach should look like.. I like this work, simple, fresh and humour at least for me :)

Thank you so much, Soul. I still remember that day. It was perfect calm, or least most of it. It is amazing jsut how rare those experiences can be. I've come to realize that most of life is kinetic, but not necessarily in a good or productive way. I hope we can all find one of those days when everything can slow right down. Thanks so much, Soul.

Meditation. Beach. Poetry. What better way to soothe the mind. Other than sharing peaceful thoughts with like-minded people. Thanks.

I bet you would have loved to stay longer, meditate longer, feel the sunlight leeching the tension out of you longer- -but the duties of life step forward and demand attendance and gazing at the ocean's tides just doesn't suit its harried schedule.... but you stole a few moments from eternity, didn't you? 10++

A beach side always inspires a poet's imagination! The music of waves, the flight of birds above, the ships that glide the waters are all sights that engross him! Even in a crowd you can enjoy peace and solitude there! A small lovely poem!

I love this poem, especially the first two lines: Alone at the beach with hundreds surrounding me How can you be alone when there are hundreds surrounding you? Easy. Just tune them out. You're alone with your wife or girlfriend. There are hundreds around you but you pay no attention to them. You only have eyes (and ears) for HER. The others may as well not exist.

Have to appreciate the times when you are alone, it never last long especially on a beach. In the end it is still back to the crowd. Thanks for a lovely read.

Nice poem. The descriptive element is eloquent and direct. The opening sets us up for a solitary experience despite all the action from the humans, the wildlife, and of course, the ocean. I enjoyed your poem.
