Well, I can certainly more than relate to being alone, the 'I' in the 'I', , , , In order to cope one has to love oneself and know that they are good....Only way to survive many, many days...and another reason to write.What makes it even harder is people in today's world that lack compassion and are unable to forgive or give a hand to one who is drowning, sad especially with so much sadness and evil that those we think we know just more or less abandon us and can't accept mistakes and human failure..........this is a special poem David written well and making lonliness appear as making one special...Must remember that, difficult to do most days....sometimes it's just best to stay in bed or escape alone to an Island.............thanks for this one..nice to see you're still on site, wasn't quite sure if you were anymore.............marci.
