'I'm battle worn, from fighting so long Loneliness now is a familiar song When we were together, love of my life! I stood behind you through trouble and strife' Wonderful composition, love it.
Such a poem of grace...Love is mere dream that's wat you showed me...
so true...stole a peice of my emotions......which i thought was my own...great great work
Bob, this is an excellent desription of a world that seems so all alone at times.. This is really written with so many emotions, it leaves the reader wanting to reach out and hug you! ! ! Very good.... Bonnie
A heart-tugger Bob. Beautifully expressed. Keep those fine descriptions of emotive subjects right there in your work, because you excell at it. Greetings from Fay Slimm Corwall. U.K.
An excellent poem Bob, you have really captured the sadness of a broken relationship. Best wishes, Andrew
..Beautiful poem Bob..I too share your lonliness...then I see you and many...I don`t feel lonely any more Bob.Keep your pen wet ever.
a poem...introspective...remorseful... expressive... a sad one but a very good one to read...
A wonderful poem even though the subject is sad and hard to accept. For one who has been 'alone' not because of death but because of departure, I find 'alone' a relief rather than a source of loneliness: -) and enjoy myself because of poetry. For the writer here who has lost a love so cherished, I marvel at the tender endearments woven in this poem and consider the piece well-thought of, an honor to have it shared here for us to read, and a work of art in itself because of its masterful rendition.10 ++++++++++
