On mother nature`s tattered hem
Which no-one cares to steal away
So left to wither and decay

I salute to you for this exquisite piece of poetry though emanating out of a personal tragedy. Loneliness engulfs the sensibilities of a reader. I can understand your position. Thanks.

An excellent write, Valerie. The last parts pierce right into my heart. I think this is your second or third poem I am reading and I love your style of writing. Comes somewhere deep within, very personal and very touching. Thank you.... Ayman

Bursting with the beauty of a rose that causes one to say-wow! Yet loaded with a load of loneliness that causes one to say-sad! Excellently expressed my friend!

Very simple yet very moving. Touched my heart and soul. Recently had bunch of surgery, was in a coma, on life support, the doc saved my life because everyone was praying for me. This poem reminded me that afterwards I was thinking about my own death and my family. I was alone in my thoughts, crying for them, because I could see in my mind, their grief if I hadn't made it, and it really got to me. Thank you for sharing. RoseAnn

Death can be very touching, it also offers hope in the here after. (A single soul alone to die, but it will live forever someday. Sad but a beautiful write.
