Alone Poem by Rachealgrace Adams

Alone

Rating: 4.5

I feel alone
I don't mean I feel lonely
I mean I feel alone
Like a blanket
Resting on a body
Or the feathers of a pillow
Under a head
Or the tight string of sleep-pants
Twisted around a waist
It is a cold sort of feeling
Like mist covering a field
I feel alone
As if it was an actual thing

Alone but not lonely? That can be good, if you enjoy your own company! I like your first poem. Welcome to Poem Hunter!

The feeling of loneliness. Can feel like a heavy emotion to know. Amazing poetry.

Thank you John, or is it Castellenas? Either way I do thank you and appreciate your comment. I'm in agreement with this heavy emotion too.
