When the moon hides behind the clouds
When the seagulls hide their faces underneath their wings.
When the ocean waves are tired and resting
And the only sound are the whispering of palm leaves
He stands alone where others stood before
Where countless dreams have drowned
Where hopes of love are buried neath the gritty sand
Where tears have been shed and washed away
It would be easy to walk into the ocean's arms
It would be like gasping for air like when she walked out
It would be like his heart stopping as it did before
He ponders whether he, like others can live with pain
He saw the silver moon peeked out of the fluffy clouds
It seemed as it knew the pain inside of him
It seemed as if moonbeams were caressing his heart
It seemed as if there was only one option for him
