Has life been with doubt and unpredictability?
It had you guessing what tomorrow might bring
Did you hope things would turn out better?
When against all hopes you still felt not enough
Should you applaud yourself for how far you have come?
Even when most thought you wouldn't get so far

Will the days of your life be remembered for the tings you did?
After every smile and hurt you have caused is put on a scale
Shall the memories of you fade from the minds of your loved ones
Evenwhen you touched their hearts in a way nobody else could
Did you hope to leave an inheritance of riches to your children?
Picturing perfectly what great joy it would bring to your posterity

Does your actions match your words when you speak?
While some shake their heads wanting to point a finger
Is your name of good repute when it comes up in conversation
Even when all you have lived for is peace and determination to make things better
Will you cherish the small things in life ultimately?
Vividly recalling the flame in your lovers eyes even when they are miles afar from you
