FATE
Why didn't I see this coming?
How was I blinded?
You gave me a plastic smile,

We struggled,
We fought battles,
And won most wars,

Why did you fail on this one?
After surgery,
I thought we had a bright future,

Every time I took you for chemotherapy,
You promised we shall hold hands,
Win against the beast,

Am left hollow and empty,
Yes! Your fate called you,
All was written in the stars.
