to love this earth
without destroying it
to endure the beauty of
a flower
without cutting it and
bring it to my
room
to resist the food
that i love
to fast and be pure
again
to be amazed by nothing
but stars
to be awed by nothing
but the sleepy light
of the moon
to find slumber among
the pillows
to find comfort with
a blanket
to lull myself with the
hammock
to embrace and caress all
memories
this strength of loving
you from far away
of loving you untouched
and unkissed
to worship love in its
full regala
to love and not be loved
in return
all these i have done
for years my love, my soul,
my mind and heart.
