All On Me Poem by Bame Bame

All On Me

Hi mum,
You raised me well, all the bad about me is all on me
I lost my way along the journey; how do I turn back?
My desire to live a perfect life made me force things that didn't fit
Your prayers saved me
But what will sustain me?
They said there is a spell cast upon me, I didn't believe in such
But if I am not a threat, why are dark forces fighting me this hard?
You taught me patience, I did the opposite
I knew what I wanted, but I didn't wait for it
I always wake up when it's too late
Repairing the damage always cost me
Red for danger? Maybe I am a bull at a show
The wrong people I ‘ve met in my life, I attracted
I once stood at a door to the good life, but there was a sign that said restricted
So much has happened in my life which a lot of people still question
Some of them are shameful and most are sad to mention
You raised me to be great, but what I am now, that's on me.
