Hello Colette:
Your poem voices the same appeal of nine-tenths of the young people on this site.
When you say:
I know I am different
from the rest of the world.
Actually you are experiencing the same depth of lonelyness of those of your age. In your poetry, I see promise and structure, so in that way you are different from the rest of the youths around you. In your attention to spelling and grammar, you show a training that is sadly lacking in the majority of those who aspire as poets on this site. I would like to see you branch out of self-absorption and turn your talents onto other subjects. your poetry will gain greater depth and you will find alleviation for the insecurity you feel.
