eclipse came and went
it was sold, cutely packaged
'to make hay '-was meant
'of dire things, you better dread'
the words, prophets of doom,spread

TV channels in India, gave extensive publicity to this rare event. A lot of colourful religious preachers, astrologers, predicted dire things to happen..etc , ensuring the audience is kept glued to TV. it must have been a money spinner.
all's well that ends well -used to say that a difficult situation has ended with a good result.
