All Is Lost Poem by M McParland

All Is Lost

All is now lost
and my hope is long gone.
My heart is shattered
and I see no hope for the future.
What a waste my efforts have been,
I tried in vein everything that I knew,
but as usual I am a failure it's true.
All is lost and I don't want to go on.
What is the point when
there's a Grand Canyon hole in your heart?

All is lost and I'll just disappear
and keep to myself from now on.
I'm tired of life
and all of it's destructive games.
