If mental illness is how you describe it, and i'm SURE it is sometimes, i want nothing to do with it! ! Actually I've befriended several men with mental illness (through the Compeer organization) and set up weekly outings or phone calls with them over the last 30 years. It's being friends with those in the mental health care system. Medication helps many to live independently. bri :)
