The title and each line of your poem contribute to the overall sense of both writing and appreciating lyric poetry. It's the last line I find resonates most with me. The first three lines gives the HOW of the Poetic Life, but the last one gives us the What. First, Inspiration moves the poet and s/he breathes uncommon air, then the poet works hard at her/his vision and is rewarded by a poem that unfolds in its entirety but also a poetic personality which also grows - perhaps in proportion to the poem. (Isn't a prose explanation HEAVY compared to the lightness and fleet flight of a poem? ! but boy, you gonna carry that weight a long, long time if you write about poetry.)
