California air is healing me and I can clearly see my edges are smoothing over once again I particularly like the analogy you used. Your edges are smoothing over once again. it speaks of times when your emotions had been hardened only to later find they had been tempered. keep writing.

This poem gave me chills. Of empathy, not dread. It captures the pathos of the regretful loss of a love object perfectly. And it captures the character of the poetess in that there is no malice in the face of rejection; just painful regret and total honesty of the healing process.
