All I Know, Dedicated Too...... Poem by M McParland

I've sought knowledge and facts all my life.
Filling my head with interesting stories of people of a wide range.
Strange, Evil, Insane, Heroic, so on, funny though all a bit profane.
I find these histories fun that I read, and do you know why?
They're adventures of a grandiosity that hold a romantic type vision.
Interesting minds and beautiful lands.
I'd say it's a longing to see all the worlds mysteries.

To read my favorite authors in prose my imagination comes alive.
Movies I love I'm infused with adventure, emotion, beauty,
in full a cornucopia provided by sight for the mind and soul.
Beautiful music. My soul is what it takes,
the senses of the entire being to higher realms
with which only truly special people should you take and sweep away,
and show them the beauty of the light and the soul you feel there.
This is my greatest passion on earth, all but one.
So these are what give my life a sense of beauty,
the tiny bit of relief and escape from ugliness that drains out love.

In all I've read, seen, heard and know in my life,
be it people or things going on around me.
There's one I've found that I could go on forever learning,
the passion of all to know and to be
could never grow boring and dull.
I've worked to understand this great mystery, my love for this gal.
An enigma of fierce endless passion that has captured my heart.
No greater beauty has been found,
no more unique personality with a lovable bounty of charm,
or a gem cut so perfect and sharp to perfection as her wit.

I'm still working on what I can to earn your divine hand.
This dense man has so much to learn about you.
Cherishing all of your hopes, and dreams.
Supporting and loving through tears laughs and all means.
I've loved you always trying hard to show you my best.
You are a mystery but it's your heart and soul that are truly gold.
Of all the things that I've learned, experienced, and seen.
All I know really is that I love you truly, forever and all.
