All Human Bliss Poem by Long Tooth

All Human Bliss

All human bliss is poetry God writes between the stars.
His writing hand, what we call time, space page where love meets rhyme,
The colors of the human heart, the ink God's pen guitars,
To scents of honeysuckle, rose, that hint of the sublime!

Man's words cannot describe God's smile; His love surpasses test!
Does simple faith create a soul? Is loss of pain your goal?
God's company or tropic isle, where would you find your rest?
Your father's wealth, your mother's warmth, which gift would you control?

I've come to see that God loves me, His dreams contain no guile!
I have no fear of judgment, for His Grace is love's best tent,
Life's purpose now is simple too; I'd only tempt His smile,
As ego gets displaced by trust, I feel my heart's content!
