'He wonders about her is she a mother and grandmother today Or growing old in Macroom as single did stay Or like him from the Hometown does she live far away We all have our journeys in life one might say' this entire poem has a beautiful memory haunting theme which tugs at heart string, the times of youth love, wondering where old friends from childhood teen years ended up, the contentment which fills all who look at life with memories looking back and fulfilment in the present as the clock ticking we use our time to purpose and enjoy moments of rest
