Having attended many funerals at home over years you have observed certain specialties about the occasion, which is unique to our situation and then you have delineated this beautiful poem describing how funeral goes on. The beginning lines say much about it. A brilliant poem.10

A very realistic description of a funeral with people mostly observing silence, some speaking in hushed tones and some having a grave or sorrow stricken face while the body inside the coffin lies insensitive to all gestures of love and sorrow! Finally the moment comes when the coffin is moved to the grave with all accompanying formalities without seeking permission from the deceased for his burial! A touching scene presented so beautifully!
