All At Once... Poem by Ging Taping

All At Once...

Rating: 4.3

You're once a star...
People around feeling close...
During your show
Fanatics gave warmth applause..

Your life is like an open book
Readers' stuck and hooked
Interesting to read from page to page.
Following you in every stage...

Every event
You attended
Lay down the red carpet
All eyes are on you even from afar..
Smile painted on your face
Waving your hand,
Like a magic wand,

Despite the popularity,
Deep inside you feel empty
Cigarette and wine became your companion.
Drunk and drowned
Seems there's no tomorrow.

Time turned the table..
life became miserable
Spent time in casino
vices you can't say no

You have everything
But left nothing
Living in the street
On your own feet..
No fans around
Only flies we found..

GING, i know i read this not long ago. where is my comment? lost in PH space? or did i just forget to comment? or? ? anyway, i enjoyed reading it again. a fall from glory into the gutter. too bad! ! ! well done, Ging. Smile painted on your face.........yes. probably in more ways than one! i liked that you gave me some good rhymes, particularly at the end. the story moved along at a rapid pace, but gave enough information to understand thoroughly! thanks for sharing. bri :) P.S. I HEAR YOU ARE NOT WELL. BEST WISHES TO YOU!
