It's a very impressive poem. The reader becomes sad and that is the effectiveness of this poem.

Amitava, you describe so well what life is like after someone you've loved has died. Her beauty, your feelings for her, how she made you feel, how she was everything to you. All of her things, her belongings as she left them, your poignant sorrow is draped over everything in your life now. In one moment your life lost all meaning. Very well written poem, very intense, Amitava. Very good. RoseAnn

Your sense of loss is overwhelming and I believe overwhelms you. Losing a loved one is the hardest thing to accept and only time will heal.

Beautiful write with the depth of your love and the sadness you feel like echoes across a great canyon as wide and far reaching as your sense of loss!

A very emotional write full of sad feelings and very haunting. Your beloved is gone and only good memories can sustain and lift you up. The sun will shine again one day. Keep looking up!

Great sadness in these words. These situations are incredibly tough and you have to get yourself out before you fall in. How ever hard it may be. i'm still climbing.

A very moving write... I can feel your deep sense of loss poignantly expressed in these lines! Is it fictional or real, I wonder! !
