All alone she did pitifully cry,
Silent tears so full of endless pain.
Once full of hope and full of passion,
Thinking love she'll never see again.
All her dreams were cruelly laid bare,
For shall she ever meet a good man.
One she could share her heart with,
Any feelings of solitude he would ban.
After crying herself despondently to sleep,
She awoke reborn in a warm sunlight haze.
All cruel nightmares and fever evicted,
Her cherished husband kissing her always.
For her love for her husband,
Was so strong it would not die.
Love's powerful bond between them,
Death would have to gasp a sigh.
