My usual brisk inspection of this Poem of the Day was brought to a sudden halt by your second stanza. My sense of duty evaporated by the third stanza and was replaced by a delightful sense of discovery. By the fourth stanza I was consuming each line slowly, chewing thoughtfully as each bite released many flavors to my hungry soul. I finished the last stanza, slowly exhaling, disappointed that the end had come, but very pleased to have found a new poet of significant talent. I look forward to enjoying the further exploration of your writing. Bravo! A more than usually well-deserved Poem of the Day!

You write with such picturesque language! Although I have only been on this site since March 2017, I have long admired your writing from afar! I love your rhyme pattern in this poem. Many congrats on being chosen for Member Poem of the Day (and I suspect it isn't your first time!) :)

The poet has beautifully portrayed the nature around us and thanked God for His bounties. but whatever is made by God is the thing that has been alive.
