This is so touching. I enjoy poems that can be seen in many different ways, depending on the state of mind of the reader. I especially liked 'insipid certainty' - wish I'd thought of that! 10. Hugs Anna xxx
I took this poem literally. (as the title states...of an alien abduction) . There are so many stories of this yet, it seems so impossible. I know people that say they would LOVE to be abducted by aliens (if they exist) ....not me, for obvious reasons but also for all you've put here in your poem....those people do become viewed as ''crazy'' and confused. Great poem, really makes you think. Sincerely, Mary
