Alexandrian Sonnet 55 - Joy Like A River

There's ocean of joy in my heart
Which has touched my every part,
Because it is beyond human art;
This marvel which now I'll chant:
The Almighty Lord, God of host
Has done that which's ever most,
Sans demanding me a cost
But replenished all my lost.
Let today then be painted in history
To reprimand the future this wondrous story,
For the Mighty One has given victory,
And that gory is now turned to glory.
Oh joy like a river, lifting up my liver,
To sing again, 'bye to that pain that do me flatter'
