If it's only a departure from earth
Then i have no cause to weep;
That men die and again, a second death,
Is what keep my eyes far from sleep.
All the great renown and fame,
The luxurious cars and commodities,
The mighty titles tagged to man's name;
Oh wail in some doleful ditties
If they do not purchase
That which Christ paid the prize.
Say it no more, let that story cease
That after this warfare world, you lost paradise?
Oh what a fool's fault that after all, salvation is lost
Upon the great prize which Christ paid with all cost.
