Alexandrian Sonnet 27 Poem by Alexandrian Ink

Alexandrian Sonnet 27

Rating: 5.0

Laying thine hope on earthly things
Is like building a mansion upon the sand;
When the time comes for your great needs
They may play no part or with you stand.
Neither on any matter, man or woman;
And one of the fastest method of communication is:
To a lady; 'don't tell anyone' hitherto, it'll go faster than
The speed of light, and everything will then look amiss.
Friends, mates, colleagues, brothers and sisters,
Parents, families and relative may you forsake.
Children, wife, husband, fame, rich men and riches;
Everything may disappoint you and never partake,
I assure you, two things will never say to you 'adieu, '
Id est (i.e) , god and death will never disappoint you.

Hope on gaining earthly things provoke thought. Very often illusion attracts and put us in danger. Death is truth and this does not disappoint us. We shall know properly life and realize God and his wisdom. God is truth and rest things in this changing world are parts of illusion. An amazing drafting is shared...10
